Point is looking for a Lead Product Designer to join our Growth team. You will be responsible for designing and iterating on customer flows that build trust, reduce friction, and increase conversion for our complex financial product. The role demands a deep understanding of customer needs, a commitment to experimentation, and close collaboration across multiple functions.
What You'll Do
- Design and own top-of-the-funnel customer flows that shape how homeowners explore our product, understand it, and move forward.
- Lead customer research through discovery interviews, usability testing, and surveys.
- Partner on product analytics and experimentation to identify friction and hesitation, and design solutions that measurably improve conversion.
- Design and iterate on AI-assisted experiences that help homeowners get answers and build confidence.
- Influence what gets built by shaping product decisions and priorities.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Data, and Content to drive alignment and execution.
- Communicate design work and rationale clearly to stakeholders, incorporating feedback and navigating tradeoffs.
- Contribute to a strong design team culture by refining how we work, sharing learnings, and making design impact visible across the organization.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience designing complex, consumer-facing digital products with clear ownership over outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to independently tackle ambiguous design problems.
- Deep experience in user research, including discovery, synthesis, and applying insights to product decisions.
- Proven track record of improving conversion and engagement through experimentation and iteration.
- Strong judgment in balancing customer needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
- Comfortable working with product analytics and experimentation to evaluate impact and guide design direction.
- Able to influence product direction through clear thinking, strong craft, and well-communicated rationale.
- Fluency in Figma and collaborative, iterative product design practices.
Nice to Have
- Background in fintech or other regulated, trust-sensitive domains.
- Experience integrating AI-assisted tools or agents into existing product flows and customer experiences.
