CoverGo is looking for a Lead Full Stack Engineer to spearhead the design and development of our innovative SaaS platform for the insurance industry. You'll join an international team focused on making insurance fully digital and accessible, leveraging modern technologies to build robust, scalable solutions.
What You'll Do
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise insurance software solutions.
- Provide technical direction on technology selection, architecture, and development best practices.
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to translate requirements into cohesive solutions.
- Optimize platform performance to handle large datasets and high user traffic.
- Conduct code reviews, enforce best coding practices, and maintain high code quality.
- Investigate and resolve bugs to uphold platform reliability and stability.
- Ensure application security and compliance by following industry best practices.
- Stay current with the latest technologies, frameworks, and engineering trends.
- Design the platform with scalability and flexibility for future growth in mind.
- Provide mentorship and technical leadership to junior developers.
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer, with a track record of leading complex SaaS applications.
- Strong technical proficiency in JavaScript, Vue, .NET Core, C#, GraphQL, MongoDB, and Docker.
- Strong background in RESTful API design patterns with specifications in OpenAPI and Swagger.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for building scalable applications.
- A minimum of 2 years in a senior or leadership role, with experience guiding development teams.
- Thorough understanding and practical experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD).
- Experience with unit, integration, and function testing using front-end and back-end testing libraries.
- In-depth knowledge of web security best practices and experience ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
- Demonstrated experience in performance optimization for high-traffic web applications.
- Experience with container technologies like Docker and a solid understanding of cloud infrastructure.
- Proven experience collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting and bug-fixing.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
