Incitec Pivot Limited is hiring a Lead Electrical & IC engineer to join our operations. Reporting to the Superintendent Reliability, you will deliver the Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls Engineering function for the Phosphate Hill and Mount Isa operations. Your focus will be on ensuring electrical safety compliance, asset reliability and integrity, while providing strong technical leadership and developing engineering capability across the business.
What You'll Do
- Lead electrical, instrumentation and control system reliability and integrity.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety legislation, Australian Standards and company HSE requirements.
- Own Electrical Safety, Functional Safety Management (FSM) and EEHA assurance.
- Develop and implement effective maintenance and reliability strategies.
- Lead incident investigations, RCA and reliability improvement initiatives.
- Coach, develop and lead a specialist EIC engineering team.
- Support capital planning, turnarounds and project execution.
What We're Looking For

- A degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
- Strong experience in EIC engineering within heavy industry or manufacturing environments.
- Proven leadership experience within engineering or technical teams.
- Sound knowledge of electrical safety legislation, Australian Standards and asset reliability.
- Experience with reliability engineering, RCA and maintenance strategy development.
Nice to Have
- RPEQ, CPEng or NPER (or eligibility to obtain) is highly regarded.
