CVS Health is hiring a Lead Director - Pharmacy Advocacy and Regulatory Affairs to drive strategic pharmacy initiatives and shape regulatory policy. This remote role focuses on influencing pharmacy practice regulations and building key external relationships across assigned regions.
What You'll Do
- Drive strategic and innovative pharmacy initiatives with Boards of Pharmacy across assigned regions.
- Shape and execute regional regulatory strategy, reporting to the Executive Director.
- Help shape the development and implementation of regulatory and advocacy priorities aligned with enterprise-wide objectives.
- Support relationship-building with Boards of Pharmacy, industry coalitions, associations, academic partners, and other external stakeholders.
- Cultivate cross-functional partnerships across Corporate Affairs, Pharmacy & Consumer Wellness, Legal, and other business units to provide strategic guidance.
- Take ownership of select state-level initiatives, including direct Board of Pharmacy engagement and development of comment letters and regulatory analyses.
- Mentor junior team members as a pathway to broader leadership within Regulatory Affairs.
What We're Looking For
- Pharmacy Degree: BS Pharm or PharmD.
- 8+ years of pharmacy and healthcare experience, including knowledge of and experience with regulatory laws.
- Experience advising on pharmacy and healthcare issues.
- History of influencing others with and without authority.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Prominent level of interpersonal skills and ability to manage multiple client areas.
- Demonstrated history of high performance.
- Currently licensed as a Registered Pharmacist.
- Ability and willingness to travel regularly 40% of the time.
Nice to Have
- Juris Doctor.
- Fellowship or Residency related to Pharmacy Regulatory.
- Experience providing regulatory research and analysis in the retail healthcare industry.
- Experience providing regulatory support for Board of Pharmacy review.
- Experience working for a Fortune 5 company in professional practice, or a similar function for a retail pharmacy company.
Team & Environment
You will report directly to the Executive Director of Pharmacy Advocacy and Regulatory Affairs and work in a matrixed environment.

- Base salary range: $100,000.00 - $231,540.00.
