MedShr is hiring a Lead Data Engineer

Your role will be to work as a member of the engineering team, leading the development and architecture of new data services and products around clinical insights. Initially focusing on extracting insights from the MedShr platform, this role will involve architecting data flows, developing analyses using medical NLP and other relevant technologies, and helping to implement reports and dashboards using these data. Our backend tech stack currently consists of: - Google Cloud Platform and GKE - Languages: PHP, Python and Typescript - Primary database: MySQL - Reporting and analysis: BigQuery We are absolutely open to using other relevant technologies, and would expect the candidate to make recommendations as appropriate. Responsibilities: - Plan, implement, and maintain a robust data architecture. - Develop, test, and maintain high quality code for data analysis and reporting. - Contribute expertise to the design and development of our data products. - Understand the privacy and security requirements for different types of data, and ensure we design and build accordingly.
