Scotiabank is looking for a Lead Data Engineer to play a key role in designing and implementing data solutions for our Wealth Management division. You will use Big Data, Hadoop (Cloudera), and Google Cloud Platform to meet the operational data needs of various stakeholders, leading development efforts and owning the end-to-end delivery of data in our Enterprise Data Lake environment.
What You'll Do
- Lead development efforts in ingesting and transforming data from various sources.
- Work hands-on in the Big Data/Hadoop environment, writing code, building scripts, and writing specifications.
- Build distributed, reliable, and scalable data pipelines to ingest and process data from multiple data sources.
- Design, build, and operationalize the data platform using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) data services.
