About the Role

CrowdStrike is hiring a Sr. Engineer - Data Analytics to support our Product and Engineering teams. In this critical role, you will partner with technical stakeholders to deliver the metrics, models, and infrastructure that guide our product strategy and roadmap. You will analyze large-scale product telemetry and system data to measure feature usage, inform engineering investments, and understand user behavior across our cybersecurity platform.

What You'll Do

  • Translate business questions from Product and Engineering into clear metrics, models, and visualizations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and track product KPIs tied to adoption, engagement, performance, and customer outcomes.
  • Design and implement reliable, scalable data pipelines to ingest and transform product usage and adoption data.
  • Manage various data sources, creating ETL solutions and designing data models based on modern technologies and best practices.
  • Play a significant role in defining the data architecture and helping stakeholders translate product questions into measurable metrics.
  • Own the data pipeline end-to-end, from data collection to the meaningful presentation of metrics.
  • Build data warehouses for storing large volumes of metrics and data.
  • Interact with product groups across the organization to define business questions and transform them into metrics.
  • Develop and maintain data visualizations that effectively communicate insights to stakeholders.
  • Implement data visualization tools to present metrics in a clear and consistent manner.
  • Configure and monitor uptime alerts for your services, keeping them healthy and optimizing their performance and stability.
  • Develop automations for data validation to ensure long-term data integrity and consistency.

What We're Looking For

  • Must be eligible for CJIS clearance (typically requires U.S. citizenship or permanent residency).
  • 5+ years of experience in a data-centric role (Data Analyst, Data Engineer, or hybrid).
  • Ability to translate business needs into scalable, trustworthy data solutions.
  • Experience architecting data pipelines, including data ingestion, ETL, reporting, and visualizations.
  • Experience extracting data from large data systems. LogScale preferred.
  • Experience programming in at least one strongly-typed, object-oriented language. Python or Golang preferred.
  • Experience developing and consuming RESTful API web services.
  • Experience interacting with major cloud provider APIs (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI) to provision and monitor cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience using RDBMS databases like Postgres and strong SQL knowledge.
  • Experience with data modeling and Extract-Transform-Load (ETL).
  • Experience with data visualization tools and infrastructures. Tableau preferred.
  • Proficiency in using Claude code to build AI-powered reports aggregating data from disparate sources.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with analytical databases.
  • Experience with dbt, Airflow, or other modern orchestration frameworks.
  • Experience with Golang and streaming pipelines.
  • Knowledge of product telemetry systems or event-based data structures.
  • Experience working in cybersecurity, SaaS, or public sector analytics.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Understanding of data structures for a key-value distributed caching solution like Redis.
  • Understanding of data structures and APIs for full-text search in Elasticsearch.
  • Experience with Cassandra, CQL, and wide-column store databases.
  • Experience using graph structures and graph databases.
  • Experience using a message queue. Kafka preferred.
  • Strong data visualization skills to present complex data structures proficiently and actionably.
