Miter is looking for a Launch Manager, Benefits to lead the end-to-end implementation of our Benefits Administration product for new clients. As a founding member of the Benefits function, you will work directly with employers, brokers, and internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding while helping define systems and playbooks to create a repeatable, high-quality process.
What You'll Do
- Lead the full benefits implementation lifecycle, from kickoff to the first payroll deduction.
- Translate plan documents into system configurations for medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and ancillary benefits.
- Configure plan eligibility, enrollment rules, and deductions in Miter with accuracy.
- Collaborate with brokers and client stakeholders to ensure clean and complete plan setup.
- Lead trainings for employers, brokers, and internal teams on Miter's BenAdmin.
- Serve as a go-to resource for questions around plan configuration, enrollment, eligibility, and compliance.
- Work cross-functionally with product, launch, and support teams to resolve issues and ensure smooth transitions.
- Develop and iterate on playbooks, SOPs, and onboarding templates to create a repeatable, high-quality implementation process.
- Identify opportunities for product and process improvements based on client needs.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of experience leading benefits implementations or system rollouts for external clients– ideally in a client-facing role at a brokerage, HR tech company, or carrier.
- A strong grasp of how to configure and launch benefits plans (medical, dental, vision, life, FSA/HSA, etc.) inside an HRIS or ben-admin system—with comfort navigating enrollment files, eligibility rules, and payroll deductions.
- Strong proficiency with Excel / Google Sheets to manage enrollment data and configuration.
- Strong project management and coordination skills across multiple stakeholders.
- Clear, empathetic communicator with a customer-first mindset.
