Gebrüder Weiss Paketdienst GmbH is seeking a Land Transport Operations Planner to join its team. In this role, you will plan and coordinate international land transport operations, focusing on import and export shipments and customer service. You will be responsible for daily logistics activities, supplier coordination, and service development.
What You'll Do
- Plan and organize Overland Transport activities on a daily basis.
- Coordinate daily with hubs regarding Import transport activities.
- Organize Import and Export shipments from destinations including the EU and Turkey.
- Coordinate daily with customs and domestic departments regarding Import shipment arrivals and door deliveries.
- Update shipment information daily in the CIEL system, responsible for domestic services.
- Coordinate with the Invoicing division.
- Prepare arrival notifications for shipments.
- Monitor overdue invoices for customers.
- Monitor the delivery and self-pickup process, collect necessary documentation, and create insurance declarations.
- Prepare rate offers for customers.
- Monitor supplier invoices and handle them for the invoicing division.
- Continuously develop services and search for new markets, clients, and suppliers.
What We're Looking For
- A completed Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- Fluent verbal and written communication skills in Georgian.
- Ability to communicate in English.
- Proficiency in using various information and communication tools.
- Eagerness to learn and become familiar with new tools and systems.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience in a similar role or within the freight forwarding field.
