Glastonbury Public Schools is hiring a Lab Tutor for a part-time position supporting science education at Glastonbury High School. You will work directly within the school environment to assist students in their laboratory studies.
What You'll Do
- Provide direct support to students during science lab sessions
- Assist with the setup and management of laboratory materials and equipment
- Clarify scientific concepts and lab procedures under the guidance of lead educators
- Foster a safe and productive learning environment for all students
What We're Looking For
- A strong foundation in core science subjects (Biology, Chemistry, Physics)
- Ability to explain complex scientific ideas in an accessible way
- Reliability and a commitment to a part-time, onsite schedule
- Patience and strong interpersonal skills for working with high school students
