Baptist Health is hiring a Medical Lab Scientist to join our team at Baptist Medical Center South. In this role, you will provide timely and courteous service by performing laboratory analyses accurately and efficiently. You will be responsible for detecting unusual conditions and solving problems to ensure high-quality patient care.
What You'll Do
- Perform laboratory analyses accurately and efficiently.
- Detect unusual conditions and assume responsibility for problem solving.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a chemical, biological, or clinical/medical laboratory science.
- Clinical laboratory training culminating in a national certification as defined by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) Board of Registry.
- Active ASCP Medical Technologist (MT), ASCP Medical Lab Scientist (MLS), ASCP Microbiology, or equivalent certification.
