Cottingham & Butler Claims Services is hiring a Kubernetes Engineer for a weeknight shift to maintain continuous uptime for critical national systems supporting the Air Force and Air Mobility Command. You will engineer and manage multi-cloud Kubernetes clusters with a security-first approach.
What You'll Do
- Support continuous uptime for critical national systems.
- Engineer and manage multi-cloud Kubernetes clusters.
- Use Terraform, Ansible, and GitOps for end-to-end automation.
- Apply security-first principles and DoD compliance standards.
- Perform proactive monitoring and rapid incident response.
- Collaborate with elite engineers across time zones.
What We're Looking For
- Proven expertise in Kubernetes, Istio, and Helm.
- Experience across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Proficiency with Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, and container security.
- Strong Linux and networking background.
- Active DoD Secret clearance is required.
Nice to Have
- CKA certification preferred.
