About the Role

Agfa Healthcare is looking for a Key Account Manager to drive growth for its Radiology Solutions across London and the South of England. In this pivotal role, you will spend 70% of your time prospecting and building a new business pipeline and 30% nurturing existing key accounts. Your mission is to expand our market presence, achieve sales targets, and build strong relationships with hospital stakeholders.

What You'll Do

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and strategic approaches.
  • Generate and qualify leads through networking, industry events, and digital channels.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to drive sales growth and expand market presence.
  • Manage and grow relationships with key accounts to ensure sustained business growth.
  • Monitor and analyse account performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Achieve and exceed agreed sales targets and KPIs.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling customer-facing sales presentations and proposals.
  • Negotiate and close deals to secure new business.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a cohesive approach to the market.
  • Ensure a positive customer experience by addressing client needs and concerns promptly.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on market analysis.

What We're Looking For

  • Degree level in Science, Business, Marketing, or a radiography/imaging related field or background.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years in sales and business development in healthcare imaging or medical device capital equipment.
  • Strong network within hospitals and relevant departments within the territory.
  • Proficient in strategic selling concepts and comparable sales processes and tools.
  • Experience with planning and developing complex business cases within budget limitations.
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks and organise time effectively to achieve goals.
  • Analytical mind and solid process orientation.
  • Entrepreneurial attitude and willingness to go the extra mile for customers.
  • Willing to travel up to 70% of the time prospecting new business.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience with CRM software and sales performance tools.
  • Strong consultative selling, solution development, negotiation and closing skills.
  • Proficient in building and management of a healthy pipeline funnel.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute sales plans.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.

  • Experience in Radiology solutions and/or capital equipment.
