Agfa Healthcare is looking for a Key Account Manager to drive growth for its Radiology Solutions across London and the South of England. In this pivotal role, you will spend 70% of your time prospecting and building a new business pipeline and 30% nurturing existing key accounts. Your mission is to expand our market presence, achieve sales targets, and build strong relationships with hospital stakeholders.
What You'll Do
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and strategic approaches.
- Generate and qualify leads through networking, industry events, and digital channels.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to drive sales growth and expand market presence.
- Manage and grow relationships with key accounts to ensure sustained business growth.
- Monitor and analyse account performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Achieve and exceed agreed sales targets and KPIs.
- Prepare and deliver compelling customer-facing sales presentations and proposals.
- Negotiate and close deals to secure new business.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a cohesive approach to the market.
- Ensure a positive customer experience by addressing client needs and concerns promptly.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on market analysis.
What We're Looking For
- Degree level in Science, Business, Marketing, or a radiography/imaging related field or background.
- Minimum of 3-5 years in sales and business development in healthcare imaging or medical device capital equipment.
- Strong network within hospitals and relevant departments within the territory.
- Proficient in strategic selling concepts and comparable sales processes and tools.
- Experience with planning and developing complex business cases within budget limitations.
- Ability to work on multiple tasks and organise time effectively to achieve goals.
- Analytical mind and solid process orientation.
- Entrepreneurial attitude and willingness to go the extra mile for customers.
- Willing to travel up to 70% of the time prospecting new business.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Experience with CRM software and sales performance tools.
- Strong consultative selling, solution development, negotiation and closing skills.
- Proficient in building and management of a healthy pipeline funnel.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute sales plans.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
