Role Overview
As a Junior Team Lead, you will play a key role in managing data collection initiatives within the Asian market. You'll supervise field teams, support project planning, and ensure that timelines and quality standards are consistently met. Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning and implementation of field-based data projects, including scheduling, resource coordination, and progress reporting.
- Lead small teams in the field, providing guidance and ensuring compliance with protocols and deadlines.
- Apply local market expertise to improve participant recruitment and engagement strategies.
- Review incoming data for accuracy and consistency, identifying and resolving issues promptly.
- Communicate regularly with internal departments such as research, operations, and project management to keep field activities aligned with project objectives.
- Assist in training field staff and contribute to ongoing performance improvements through constructive feedback.
- Prepare regular updates and documentation for senior team review.
Qualifications
Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in Business, Social Sciences, Market Research, or a related discipline. One to two years of experience in field operations, data collection, or team coordination is required. Strong understanding of local cultural dynamics is essential for effective outreach and recruitment.
Excellent organizational abilities, clear communication skills, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks under pressure are critical. Proficiency in MS Office and Google Workspace is expected.
Preferred Background
- Previous experience as a project assistant, team coordinator, or junior supervisor in research or data-focused roles.
- Experience with survey platforms, participant databases, or online recruitment tools.
- Fluency in more than one local language is advantageous.
