Parsons Transportation Group is looking for a Junior Financial Analyst (Emirati) to support the financial planning and analysis function for our EMEA business. You’ll join a workplace where you can be yourself and thrive while working with intelligent, diverse people sharing a common quest.
What You'll Do
- Assist in the preparation of month-end financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies between actual and budgeted financial performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and validate financial data.
- Support the FP&A team in preparing monthly financial presentations for management.
- Help maintain and improve financial reporting systems and processes for accuracy and efficiency.
- Assist in the reconciliation of accounts and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Participate in the budgeting and forecasting processes by providing relevant data and insights.
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses as required to support business initiatives and strategic planning.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum internship experience in finance, accounting, or data analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial modeling and reporting tools.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple priorities.
