INNIO is looking for a Junior Field Service Technician to start a career with a clear growth path. This role begins with an intensive 18-month training phase in Mexico before relocating to the U.S. to work directly with customers, providing commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting for Jenbacher gas engines and sustainable energy solutions.
What You'll Do
- Commission Jenbacher gas engines, generators, and switchgear on-site with customers.
- Analyze and resolve technical issues on Jenbacher and customer plant components.
- Perform repairs, retrofits, and scheduled maintenance.
- Deliver clear, concise, and timely professional service reports after each assignment.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Coordinate with the responsible area to keep tools calibrated.
- Strictly adhere to EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) standards.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, or Electromechanical Engineering.
- Strong technical and analytical skills, and openness to hands-on tasks such as wiring panels and alternators.
- Ability to interpret wiring diagrams, interface, and mechanical drawings.
- Basic knowledge of programmable logic controllers.
- Confident, independent, and resilient personality.
- Good English skills, both spoken and written.
- Willingness to travel internationally for several weeks at a time, with high flexibility.
- Valid driver’s license.
