Oura is looking for a Senior Firmware Engineer to develop new features and enhance existing features for the company's current product offering and factory firmware. You will participate in maintenance activities, including bug fixing and automated test improvements, while collaborating across teams to deliver world-class embedded systems.
What You'll Do
- Develop new features and enhance existing features of the current product offering and factory firmware.
- Participate in maintenance activities including bug fixing and automated functional and unit test improvements.
- Work alongside other domain experts to deliver world-class solutions.
- Collaborate across teams including science, hardware, test, and mobile application development teams, contributing to in-house tools.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong skills in C/C++ programming.
- Expertise in MCU programming on real-time platforms.
- Experience with automated functional and unit testing.
- Familiarity with CI tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Solid troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- Python or other scripting knowledge.
- Understanding of measurement techniques and Bluetooth Low Energy communications.
- Good communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with embedded RTOS such as Zephyr.
- Interest or experience in sensor data processing.
- Experience in using oscilloscopes and other measurement equipment.
- Experience in system-level debugging and analysis.
