AT&S is looking for a Junior Engineer Production (f/m/d) to join our team at the headquarters in Leoben, Austria. You will act as a vital link between machine operators and engineering, enabling production at Europe's only IC substrate plant.
What You'll Do
- Act as the link between machine operators and the broader organization, translating technical complexity into hands-on excellence.
- Empower shift leaders and operators through impactful, practice-oriented training.
- Support smart maintenance strategies by gathering machine data and translating it into actionable improvements.
- Participate in machine change approvals and restarts with quality, maintenance, and process experts.
- Drive continuous process improvements and cost-saving ideas to stabilize and evolve production.
- Contribute to the unique spirit of the Austrian high-tech site.
What We're Looking For
- Technical education (e.g. HTL).
- Proficiency in German and English, strong communication skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to troubleshoot, analyze data, and support cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
- Willingness to work in shift models and a cleanroom environment.
- Basic IT skills (Word, Excel).
- Flexibility, adaptability, and readiness to work in a multicultural team.
Nice to Have
- First experience in the electronics industry or relevant experience with complex machines and their maintenance.
