Tietoevry is looking for a Junior Billing and Collection Specialist to join the Tieto Tech Consulting team. This 6-month assignment focuses on providing operational support for managing a portfolio of international suppliers and customers, handling invoicing, disputes, payments, and data analysis.
What You'll Do
- Provide operational support in managing a portfolio of international suppliers and customers.
- Prepare and issue outgoing invoices by customer and product.
- Handle incoming disputes within defined acceptance thresholds.
- Validate incoming supplier invoices by product.
- Raise disputes on incorrect invoices within acceptance thresholds.
- Track, follow up, and ensure timely resolution of all disputes.
- Support data-driven decision-making by analyzing Excel datasets, including reconciling information across multiple sources and identifying deviations, inconsistencies, or anomalies.
- Support the preparation and delivery of operational open disputes reports.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation, including enhancements to calculation rules.
- Help maintain clean and accurate partner account balances.
- Ensure timely release of payments using the appropriate systems and processes.
- Process and allocate incoming payments promptly, particularly before month-end closing.
- Support reduction of bad debt through effective and proactive follow-up.
What We're Looking For
- At least 1 year of experience in Accounting or Billing.
- Good command of spoken and written English.
- Excellent knowledge of Excel.
- Strong analytical skills and well-structured thinking.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance or Economics.
