FUNKE Mediengruppe is looking for a Junior Automation & AI Developer to join our Process Excellence department. You will actively shape our digital transformation by implementing modern technologies to improve business processes, working at the interface between business and IT.

What You'll Do

Analyze and model business processes using BPMN.
Identify optimization, automation, and AI use cases with business departments.
Implement workflow automations using the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, PowerApps, Power BI).
Build AI applications for tasks like document processing and text analysis.
Support solution rollout, including testing, documentation, and user support.
Develop KPIs to measure the success of process improvements.
Observe trends in AI and process automation and evaluate their application.

What We're Looking For

Completed degree in (Business) Informatics, Business, Engineering, or a comparable field.
First practical experience in process management, automation, or RPA.
Good understanding of business processes and an analytical mindset.
High willingness to learn and a structured, independent way of working.
Knowledge of Python and/or Data Analysis.
Knowledge of BPMN and the Microsoft Power Platform.
Good communication skills and interest in Machine Learning and NLP.
