EY is looking for a Junior Accountant - Tax and Accounting to join our team providing outsourced Administration and Finance services. As a member of our EY GDS team in Málaga, you'll expand your knowledge and experience by working on interesting projects with the latest technologies and approaches.
What You'll Do
- Manage and verify incoming invoices, resolve discrepancies related to invoice processing, and handle payments.
- Prepare adhesion contracts, manage billing, and record information in the accounting system.
- Record issued and received invoices and reconcile accounting accounts.
- Manage purchase orders: create the order, register the request in the accounting system, track the order, and manage possible incidents with suppliers.
- Perform bank reconciliations and statements.
- Provide back-office services in the treasury area (guarantee management, cash management, and reporting).
- Participate in the execution and review of accounting closings under the Spanish General Accounting Plan.
- Participate in the preparation and submission of taxes (VAT, Corporate Tax, withholdings, Intrastat, etc.).
- Update master data in the different systems (BC, SAP, billing programs, etc.).
What We're Looking For
- Degree in Finance and Accounting, Business Administration and Management, Economics, or similar.
- Between 6 months to 2 years of relevant professional experience in accounting and/or taxes.
- Advanced proficiency with office tools (Excel, Outlook, Databases, etc.).
- Proficiency in the English language (B2 level or higher).
- Mastery of the Spanish language (C2 level or native).
Nice to Have
- User-level experience with systems: SAP, Prinex, CRM Dynamics 365, and Business Intelligence.
