Position Description: We are recruiting an accomplished Environmental Health and Safety Specialist for our Nashville team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in workplace safety assessments, regulatory compliance, and professional consulting with strong independent project management capabilities. Responsibilities: • Execute comprehensive industrial hygiene evaluations, including exposure monitoring for chemical, physical, and biological hazards • Conduct specialized inspections and sampling for asbestos, lead-based paint, mold, and indoor air quality concerns • Develop and implement strategic remediation strategies and hazard mitigation recommendations • Generate detailed technical documentation communicating findings professionally • Ensure strict adherence to OSHA, EPA, and Tennessee environmental regulations • Collaborate across interdepartmental teams on environmental safety initiatives • Provide expert guidance on ventilation, respiratory protection, and hazard communication protocols • Support business development through client engagement and proposal preparation Qualifications: • Advanced degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Health, Occupational Safety • 5-10 years consulting-based industrial hygiene experience • Preferred Certifications: - Asbestos Inspector - Asbestos Management Planner - Asbestos Project Designer - Asbestos Supervisor - Air Sampling Professional - Lead-based Paint Risk Assessor - Indoor Air Quality Professional Required Skills: • Comprehensive OSHA regulation knowledge • Exceptional written and verbal communication • Autonomous project management capabilities • Strong client interaction skills Compensation and Benefits: • Salary Range: $90,000 - $150,000 • Flexible Work Environment • Comprehensive Benefits Package: - Remote Work Options • Flexible Time Off • Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance • 401k Matching • Commuter Benefits Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diverse, inclusive workplace environments.
