Brutus and Barnaby is looking for a hands-on Marketing Manager/Specialist to own the marketing funnel for JobRack. You will plan strategy with the founder and execute rapidly to generate leads and convert them into hiring clients. Success will be measured by lead generation, email performance, and client sales metrics.
What You'll Do
- Own and execute tasks across the full marketing funnel.
- Launch and test paid offers like micro-guides to generate leads quickly.
- Build simple funnels that convert leads into hiring clients.
- Repurpose the 75-page Offshore Hiring Playbook into high-converting micro-guides and short-form offers.
- Write and manage high-performing email campaigns, including opt-ins, nurture sequences, and newsletters.
- Run and track newsletter sponsorships and partnership campaigns, including finding new opportunities.
- Track metrics, spot what’s working, and fix what’s not using GA4, dashboards, and KPIs.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience building and running full funnels (ads → landing page → nurture → sale), ideally B2B.
- Hands-on experience with at least one major ad platform (Meta, LinkedIn, or Google Ads).
- Ability to build landing pages using ClickFunnels, WordPress, or similar tools.
- Strong skills in list management, sequences, and broadcasts (ActiveCampaign experience a plus).
- Experience writing or repurposing content for conversion (lead magnets, micro-guides, short-form offers).
- Confidence using GA4, dashboards, and KPIs to guide and prioritize work.
- Ability to build, launch, and test campaigns without needing a designer or developer.
- Bias for speed and action (launch MVPs quickly and iterate).
- Recent examples of using AI tools to improve marketing execution.
Nice to Have
- Experience running newsletter sponsorships and tracking conversion.
- Experience working in an agency, SaaS, or service business before.
- Familiarity with HubSpot, Zapier, and Google Sheets.
- Experience with systems to drive referrals and repeat customers.
- A personal interest in remote work, hiring, or entrepreneurship.
- Knowledge of SEO, PPC and CRO.

- Compensation: $3,000–$4,000+/month (gross, independent contractor basis)
