Responsibilities
- Support clients in choosing appropriate products for both system-level and component-level applications.
- Guide customers through the application, setup, startup, calibration, and troubleshooting of products and integrated systems.
- Travel as needed to assess product opportunities and customer requirements, supporting sales efforts.
- Maintain consistent communication with sales regions to deliver timely application support aligned with sales strategies.
- Deliver presentations on products, systems, and technical solutions at industry events scheduled by sales teams.
- Support promotional initiatives such as reviewing product materials and participating in trade shows and technical conferences.
- Collaborate with marketing and project teams to share customer insights and influence product design and specifications.
- Identify and analyze market demands to inform product development and positioning.
- Contribute to market analysis and gather competitive intelligence when necessary.
- Deliver technical presentations at industry events when required.
- Help develop sales resources such as application guides and technical notes.
- Provide leadership and coordination for other application specialists in daily operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
- Professional experience with three-phase power systems in utility and industrial sectors
- Background in excitation systems or rotating machinery
- Minimum of five years in an application engineering or specialist role
- Solid understanding of power generation systems, analog, and digital circuits
- Must be available to travel at least 50% of the time within designated sales regions
