Boost IT is looking for a Java Developer to join our team in Portugal. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and secure applications using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot. You will build and integrate APIs and microservices to directly support our business needs.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and secure applications using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
- Build and integrate APIs and microservices to support business needs.
- Leverage AWS cloud services to deploy and manage backend applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define solutions, and deliver high-quality software.
- Write clean, testable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
- Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and technical documentation.
What We're Looking For
- At least 4 years of professional experience in Java development.
- Strong experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS).
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservice architecture.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, or Kubernetes is a plus.
