Bosch Chassis Systems India Private Ltd. is looking for an IT Technician - 1st shift to ensure the reliability and security of our IT operations. You will be responsible for maintaining and supporting our IT infrastructure and MAE software systems, taking technical direction from the local OT Coordinator.

What You'll Do

Collect, review, and update inventory data for IT infrastructure and Machinery software.
Initiate, organize, coordinate, and log remote shopfloor access (RSA).
Execute and verify data backups of IT systems, like PLC Programs.
Perform the annual validation of the IT emergency plan.
Apply for IP addresses, network zones, and infrastructure services.
Implement update and IT security measures defined by governing bodies.
Document the wired and wireless networks used directly by Machinery and equipment.
Install and configure IT devices (excluding facilities installation).
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for non-BD IT devices.
Execute Layer Process Audits for our Local IT security concept, including virus scans for non-BD IT devices.

What We're Looking For

High School and Technical/Vocational schooling required.
Intermediate proficiency in IT devices and information technology.
Entry proficiency in networking concepts.
Senior proficiency in working with control cabinets and electrical safety.
Intermediate proficiency with operating systems (Microsoft Windows, Linux).
Intermediate proficiency in PLC programming.
Entry proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
