Digitale Schule FFB e.V. is hiring a System Administrator to join our mission of driving digital transformation for schools in the Fürstenfeldbruck district. You will play a key role in operating and improving the IT infrastructure that supports education.

What You'll Do

• Plan, install, and maintain networks with modern components.
• Set up, monitor, and optimize switches, access points, and other network hardware.
• Administer and configure firewalls, including applying security updates and monitoring.
• Provide 1st and 2nd level support for schools via ticket system and hotline.
• Directly support teachers and administration with IT problems on-site or remotely.
• Perform proactive maintenance to ensure smooth IT operations.
• Manage and optimize Microsoft 365 environments, including SharePoint, Teams, and Exchange.
• Manage mobile devices with an MDM solution, handling setup, configuration, and ensuring uniform usage.
• Maintain and develop inventory and asset management systems.
• Document deployed hardware, software, and associated IT processes and procedures.
• Support error analysis and problem-solving within IT support.

What We're Looking For

• Completed vocational training in IT (e.g., IT specialist for system integration) or a comparable qualification.
• First practical experience with network infrastructures.
• Basic knowledge of firewall administration.
• Experience in IT support.
• Interest in Microsoft 365 administration.
• Knowledge in the area of Mobile Device Management.
• Strong communication skills, customer orientation, and enjoyment of working with schools and teachers.

Nice to Have

• Experience in supporting educational institutions.
• First experience in Microsoft 365 administration.
