TensorOps is looking for a remote IT System Administrator to join our team. You will provide critical remote IT support, manage system updates, resolve complex technical issues, and serve as an escalation point for other technicians. This role requires participation in an on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend support.
What You'll Do
- Resolve workstation operating system issues of any kind.
- Resolve printer and standard business application (Office, etc.) issues.
- Resolve line-of-business application issues for common and niche applications, sometimes with vendor assistance.
- Resolve advanced server issues and basic to intermediate networking problems.
- Act as an escalation point for other technicians.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to provide after-hours and weekend support for onsite and remote operations.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of five years of experience in IT Support or a similar role.
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting Windows and Mac OS.
- Experience with Server 2016 through 2025, VMWare, Hyper V Virtualization, and supporting M365 and Azure.
- Basic knowledge of firewalls, switches, network architecture, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in supporting MS Office, Adobe, Active Directory, backup software, endpoint cybersecurity, mobile devices, and various business applications.
- A home office setup that meets specific computer, internet, audio, mobile, webcam, and UPS requirements.
- A very strong cultural fit the ITS way.
- Excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written.
- Ability to work full time 40 hours per week: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST (Monday to Friday).
- Ability to pass our online behavior and cognitive assessments.
- For Philippines applicants, ability to provide NBI Clearance.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) is highly desirable.
- Active server certifications are preferred.
- Preferably, at least two of the following certifications: CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, or 3cx Basic Certified Engineer.
