Omikron is looking for an IT-Support Specialist (w/m/d) to join our team. In this role, you will be the primary technical contact for our customers, providing support for our electronic banking software products. You'll contribute to a dynamic market environment by solving operational problems and supporting key IT projects.
What You'll Do
- Act as the first point of contact via multichannel support (phone, email, remote) for 1st and 2nd level inquiries.
- Thoroughly document all processes and solutions in the ticket system.
- Replicate and analyze operational problems in a dedicated test environment to find solutions.
- Support ongoing IT projects, including software implementation and integration, both remotely and on-site at customer locations.
- Take on independent project responsibility over time.
- Conduct training sessions for our electronic banking software products.
What We're Looking For
- Completed vocational training in IT (e.g., Fachinformatiker/in) or a comparable qualification.
- 1-2 years of professional experience in an IT support environment.
- In-depth IT knowledge, particularly with Windows client and server operating systems.
- Familiarity with data remote transfer and networking concepts.
- Very good German and English language skills, both spoken and written.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly learn new topics.
- Ability to remain focused under pressure, set correct priorities, and maintain high-quality work.
- Initiative, an independent work style, and willingness to travel to customer sites.
Nice to Have
- Initial experience with financial software or SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) products.
