The IT Support & Operations Specialist will manage and evolve the company’s IT infrastructure, support global teams, and ensure secure and efficient operations across cloud environments, third-party providers, and internal systems. This role is critical in maintaining the reliability and security of SDG's global IT operations and supporting a fully remote workforce.
Responsibilities
- Operate, maintain, and evolve the company’s IT infrastructure (data center / colocation and public clouds)
- Deploy and update applications in cloud environments; configure environments, networks, VPNs, firewalls, monitoring, and logging
- Organize backup and data recovery processes
- Deploy and support software in related cloud systems (e.g. IT helpdesk, support services)
- Coordinate third-party vendors during implementation and ongoing support of software solutions (IT helpdesk, MDM, SSO/IdP, monitoring, asset management, etc.)
- Define requirements, timelines, delivery plans, and control execution quality
- Prepare access and environments, enforce least-privilege principles, MFA, logging, and access revocation after work completion
- Acceptance of delivered solutions (UAT/acceptance testing), defect tracking, and fix validation
- Ensure proper handover of documentation and knowledge: instructions, runbooks, escalation contacts, SLAs
- Incident management and escalations together with providers
- Participate in vendor and product selection: technical evaluation, risk assessment, compatibility with the current stack, and solution recommendations
- Administer corporate email accounts (creation/deletion of mailboxes, aliases, groups, security policies)

Compensation
