METRO AEBE is looking for an IT Support Engineer - Stores Support to provide technical support across our store network. In this role, you will serve as a key point of contact for user issues, ensuring the smooth operation of store technology and contributing to system improvements.

What You'll Do

Provide technical support to end users via calls, ticketing systems, and emails.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues related to PCs, printers, tablets, POS devices, and scanners.
Install and configure software applications.
Monitor and manage local network connections, including LAN, switches, and WiFi.
Perform routine diagnostic checks.
Ensure all support requests are documented, tracked, and resolved in a timely manner.
Contribute to knowledge base articles and support documentation.
Create and update user manuals.
Collaborate with other IT departments to improve systems, tools, and processes.
Work on weekly shifts, including morning, afternoon, and Saturday rotations.

What We're Looking For

A degree from a University, Technical Institute, or IEK in Computer Science or a related field.
Experience in a technical support or helpdesk role.
Knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Windows and O365.
Understanding of networking technologies such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and LAN/WAN concepts.
Experience using ticketing systems and remote desktop tools.
Strong analytical thinking and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team spirit.
A results-oriented mindset.
