Allica Bank is hiring an IT Support Engineer

As an IT Support Engineer, you’ll play a key role in maintaining the reliability and performance of end-user technologies across a fast-moving fintech organisation. You'll provide consistent, high-quality support to employees through deskside visits, remote tools, and phone assistance, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to and resolve technical incidents and service requests, managing workload according to service level agreements.
  • Execute Joiner–Mover–Leaver processes, ensuring timely provisioning and deprovisioning of user access and equipment.
  • Administer Microsoft 365 services including identity management via Entra ID, email (Exchange), collaboration (SharePoint, Teams), device management (Intune, Autopilot), and licensing.
  • Support a diverse range of devices—Windows and Mac laptops, mobile devices, and meeting room technology—ensuring optimal functionality and security.
  • Maintain accurate records of IT assets and oversee their lifecycle from deployment to retirement.
  • Use ITSM platforms to log, categorise, and resolve tickets, while contributing to knowledge base articles for improved self-service.
  • Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements through automation, AI integration, or user training.
  • Uphold security standards in access control, data protection, and device compliance across all support activities.

What We’re Looking For

You bring proven experience in desktop and end-user computing support, with deep familiarity in enterprise Microsoft 365 environments. You’re skilled in IT service management practices and capable of balancing multiple priorities in a dynamic setting. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities are essential, along with a clear focus on user experience.

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in regulated sectors such as financial services, and those who have applied security best practices like multi-factor authentication, encryption, and privileged access controls. Exposure to scripting, automation, or AI-driven support tools is a plus.

Work Environment & Benefits

This role operates in a hybrid model, supporting flexible working patterns tailored to individual needs. The organisation is committed to inclusivity, employee wellbeing, and creating a culture where people can thrive.

Benefits include comprehensive onboarding, ongoing professional development, pension contributions, private health insurance, life assurance, and a discretionary bonus scheme. The company also offers family-friendly policies with enhanced parental leave, along with opportunities for social engagement and team connection.

Diversity and inclusion are central to the workplace ethos. All backgrounds and perspectives are welcomed, and everyone is encouraged to be themselves at work. The company actively promotes openness, respect, and belonging across all levels of the organisation.
