Victor Energy is hiring an IT Infrastructure Analyst to act as the primary, hands-on support contact for both Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) environments across geographically distributed sites. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, security, and performance of infrastructure systems that support both corporate services and critical industrial operations, coordinating on-site support and serving as a key liaison.
What You'll Do
- Act as the main point of contact for IT and OT infrastructure support across assigned sites.
- Support and troubleshoot infrastructure components including servers (physical and virtual), network equipment, end-user connectivity, site communications, and OT network segments.
- Provide on-site and remote troubleshooting for incidents impacting production, safety, or business operations.
- Support OT-related infrastructure in coordination with operations, engineering, and vendors.
- Assist with network segmentation, access control, and secure connectivity between IT and OT environments.
- Ensure OT systems remain stable, secure, and compliant with organizational standards.
- Participate in OT deployments, upgrades, and site expansions.
- Support the networking requirements for industrial control systems (SCADA, PLCs, IoT sensors) to ensure seamless data flow.
- Travel regularly to remote sites to perform installations, upgrades, infrastructure assessments, root-cause analysis, remediation, and new site bring-ups.
- Serve as the technical liaison between site personnel and centralized IT teams.
- Maintain accurate site documentation, diagrams, and asset inventories.
- Participate in infrastructure projects including network refreshes, server deployments, cloud integration, and OT modernization efforts.
- Work with vendors and service providers for implementation and support activities.
- Ensure solutions align with security, performance, and scalability standards.
- Apply IT and OT security best practices, including network segmentation, access controls, and patch management.
- Support audits, risk assessments, and incident response activities related to infrastructure and OT systems.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure support or operations.
- Strong hands-on experience with enterprise networking (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi).
- Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server and/or Linux environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Experience supporting or working alongside Operational Technology (OT) or industrial systems.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex, multi-layer infrastructure issues.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively and work independently at remote sites.
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel by air and ground as required.
Nice to Have
- Experience in industrial, manufacturing, utilities, or field-based environments.
- Knowledge of IT/OT network segmentation and security models.
- Familiarity with industrial protocols and systems.
- Experience working with managed service providers and telecom vendors.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, Network+, Security+, VMware, Microsoft).
