Scalepex is looking for a Network Engineer specializing in Mobility Optimization and Planning to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance, capacity, and quality of service across mobile networks, supporting continuous improvement and expansion strategies.
What You'll Do
- Analyze mobile network performance KPIs (throughput, latency, call drop rate, handovers, etc.)
- Identify performance gaps and implement optimization strategies
- Perform parameter tuning and configuration adjustments
- Conduct drive test analysis and post-processing
- Support troubleshooting of RF and core-related mobility issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve network quality and customer experience
- Support capacity planning and network expansion projects
- Analyze traffic growth trends and forecast future needs
- Assist in site planning, sectorization, and coverage improvements
- Evaluate new technology deployments (4G, 5G)
- Prepare technical reports and performance dashboards
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in mobile network engineering
- Strong knowledge of LTE and/or 5G technologies
- Experience with mobility parameters (handover, load balancing, neighbor relations)
- Experience with network optimization tools and performance monitoring systems
- Understanding of RF principles
- Experience analyzing KPIs and performance data
Nice to Have
- Experience with drive test tools (TEMS, Nemo, etc.)
- Experience working with vendors (Ericsson, Nokia, Huawei)
- Knowledge of scripting (Python or similar for data analysis)
- Experience in multi-vendor environments
