Swiss Re Group is seeking an IT Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be the driving force behind the requirement engineering for our innovative data projects and cutting-edge platforms, playing a key part in enhancing experience and efficiency.
What You'll Do
- Gather and analyze business requirements in close collaboration with the Product Manager.
- Translate complex business terminology into technical language and vice versa.
- Create clear, concise requirements and acceptance criteria that are unambiguous, complete, consistent, and verifiable.
- Design and optimize user journeys to enhance overall experience and efficiency.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Create tangible metrics for tracking user adoption and business impact.
- Present technical progress to a broader business audience.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience with business analysis, requirements engineering, and software quality assurance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to work with tight deadlines and adapt priorities as organizational objectives evolve.
- Experience presenting applications and demonstrations to internal and external stakeholders.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum) and collaboration tools like Azure DevOps and Confluence.
Nice to Have
- Educational background in a quantitative field (e.g., mathematics).
- Experience in the Re-/Insurance industry.
- Hands-on experience with software quality assurance methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Knowledge of data analytics and visualization techniques.
- Experience with process improvement methodologies.

Benefits & Compensation
- Monthly compensation between EUR 2,200 and EUR 3,700 (for a full-time role in Slovakia).
