Finning is hiring an IT Asset Coordinator

About the Role

What You'll Do

Manage the complete lifecycle of IT assets, from procurement to retirement, ensuring all devices are properly tracked and maintained. Coordinate with vendors for delivery, setup, and return of laptops, printers, monitors, and peripherals. Verify asset receipt and deployment to end users, and schedule replacements based on lease terms or end-of-life policies.

Oversee inventory accuracy in ServiceNow by conducting regular audits, updating records, and resolving discrepancies. Handle change orders for purchases, relocations, and buyouts, and manage requests for accessories and new deployments. Support billing processes by reporting offline printer usage and monitoring toner deliveries.

Investigate non-reporting devices, missing equipment, and failed consumable deliveries. Resolve incidents logged in ServiceNow and contribute to the knowledge base with clear documentation. Participate in improving asset management workflows using ITIL-aligned practices.

Requirements

Minimum of three years in an office environment with hands-on experience in asset tracking and administration. Proficiency with ServiceNow for managing incidents, requests, and asset records is essential. ITIL certification is required. Strong skills in Excel, Outlook, and Word are necessary for daily reporting and communication.

Familiarity with IT asset management platforms such as ServiceNow and Lansweeper is preferred. Experience with mobile device management tools like Intune or Apple Business Manager is a plus. Knowledge of device encryption, security software, and procurement lifecycle processes will support success in this role.
