As an IT Asset Coordinator, you will oversee the end-to-end management of IT hardware, including laptops, printers, monitors, and peripherals. You'll ensure assets are properly tracked, deployed, and retired in alignment with lease agreements and lifecycle schedules, supporting organizational efficiency and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with vendors for procurement, moves, and buyouts of IT equipment
- Manage the deployment and return of devices, ensuring timely delivery and receipt by end users
- Track and maintain accurate inventory records in ServiceNow throughout each asset’s lifecycle
- Investigate and resolve issues related to non-reporting devices and missing equipment
- Submit and manage service requests for printer setups, including IP reservations and queue configurations
- Monitor printer usage data for billing accuracy and coordinate toner deliveries
- Process asset-related requests and incidents through ServiceNow, ensuring timely resolution
- Identify and recover inactive or unaccounted devices across the network
- Support audit readiness by validating inventory and correcting discrepancies
- Arrange for the return or environmentally responsible recycling of end-of-life hardware
- Collaborate with finance, procurement, and IT teams to align asset planning with business needs
- Contribute to process improvements and documentation updates based on operational insights
- Create and maintain knowledge base articles and service request templates
- Support the adoption of ITIL best practices in asset management workflows
Qualifications
- Minimum of three years of professional office experience
- Proven experience with ServiceNow, particularly in incident, request, and asset management modules
- Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and principles
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and maintain detailed records
