Jonas Software is seeking a hands-on, service-oriented IT and DevOps Specialist. In this hybrid role, you will support internal IT operations, including desktop support and onboarding, while managing and optimizing our AWS cloud infrastructure.

What You'll Do

Provide front-line technical support via ticketing system for internal users, including hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
Provision, configure, troubleshoot, and manage laptops and desktops running Windows and macOS.
Own the complete onboarding and offboarding process, managing accounts, access, and equipment setup.
Maintain hardware inventory and software licensing records.
Administer user accounts and permissions in Microsoft 365 and Azure AD.
Manage and optimize AWS infrastructure, including ECS, RDS, S3, IAM, and CloudWatch.
Maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments using IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
Monitor cloud performance, availability, and cost.
Assist with incident response and postmortem analysis for service disruptions.
Administer security tools, including EDR, MDM, password managers, and MFA.
Ensure endpoint compliance and enforce security baselines.
Support access controls and least-privilege policies across cloud and internal systems.
Assist with security audits, policy enforcement, and patching activities.
Maintain a Security Score Card score of 95 or greater.

What We're Looking For

3 to 6 years of combined experience in IT support and DevOps or infrastructure roles.
Strong knowledge of AWS services and their practical application.
Experience managing Microsoft 365 and Azure AD.
Familiarity with building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and monitoring tools.
Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows and macOS systems.
Experience managing security and compliance tools.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to Have

Scripting and automation skills in Powershell, Bash, or Python.
An AWS Certification.
Experience with version control (Git and GitFlow), containerization (Docker and Kubernetes), or IAC tools.
Familiarity with PCI and SoC2 compliance frameworks.
Experience supporting distributed or remote-first teams.
