Jonas Software is looking for an IT and DevOps Specialist to join our team. This hybrid role combines responsibilities for internal IT support with AWS DevOps engineering. You will be instrumental in maintaining our user productivity and the reliability, security, and efficiency of our cloud infrastructure.

What You'll Do

Provide front-line technical support via a ticketing system for internal users on hardware, software, and connectivity.
Provision, configure, troubleshoot, and manage laptops and desktops running Windows and macOS.
Own the employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including account provisioning, access management, and equipment setup.
Maintain hardware inventory, software licensing, and user accounts in Microsoft 365 and Azure AD.
Manage and optimize AWS infrastructure including ECS, RDS, S3, IAM, and CloudWatch.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments using IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
Monitor cloud performance, availability, and cost to ensure efficient operations.
Assist with incident response, postmortems, and root cause analysis for operational issues.
Administer security tools including EDR, MDM, password managers, and MFA.
Ensure endpoint compliance and enforce a security baseline across all systems.
Support access controls and implement least-privilege policies in cloud and internal environments.
Assist with security audits, policy enforcement, and system patching.
Maintain a Security Score Card score of 95 or greater.

What We're Looking For

3 to 6 years of combined experience in IT support and DevOps or infrastructure roles.
Strong knowledge of AWS services and their core management concepts.
Hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 and Azure AD.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and system monitoring tools.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and managing Windows and macOS environments.
Experience managing security and compliance tools such as Crowdstrike, Rapid7, or VeraCode.
Excellent problem-solving skills and clear, effective communication.

Nice to Have

Scripting and automation skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
An AWS Certification.
Experience with version control (Git), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), or Infrastructure as Code tools.
Familiarity with compliance frameworks like PCI and SOC2.
Experience supporting distributed or remote-first teams.
