The iOS Tech Lead plays a pivotal role in shaping the technical direction and execution of enterprise-grade mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms. This individual is responsible for leading architectural decisions, ensuring code quality, and driving the adoption of modern development practices within an agile, collaborative environment. The role involves close collaboration with product managers, designers, and engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure, and user-centric mobile solutions. In addition to hands-on development, the Tech Lead mentors junior developers, conducts technical reviews, and champions innovation through the integration of emerging technologies. A strong emphasis is placed on performance, maintainability, and delivering exceptional user experiences across diverse business domains.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate technical feasibility of product features based on business requirements.
- Provide leadership in system design, code reviews, and resolution of production issues for iOS and Android platforms.
- Lead the architecture and implementation of complex full-stack mobile components and integrations.
- Guide and mentor developers to enhance team technical capabilities.
- Help define and maintain coding standards, best practices, and technical roadmaps in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Stay current with emerging mobile technologies and industry trends to support innovation.
Requirements
- Minimum of 9 years of professional experience in native iOS or Android development.
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience debugging and developing applications for both iOS and Android platforms.
- Published at least one native application on iOS and Android app stores.
- Experience designing, building, and maintaining complex mobile solutions involving multiple stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to build critical mobile features that integrate with internal and external systems.
- Strong understanding of software development processes in distributed team environments.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and clear communication skills.
- Proven experience mentoring technical team members.
