United Overseas Bank Limited (UOB) is seeking an Investment Content Editor to join our team. In this role, you will edit, refine, and produce high-quality investment-related content across our private bank platform. Your work will ensure all content is accurate, engaging, and aligned with our brand tone and regulatory standards.
What You'll Do
- Edit and proofread investment commentaries, market outlooks, fund updates, whitepapers, and thought leadership pieces.
- Ensure clarity, consistency, and accuracy in all investment content.
- Maintain editorial standards and house style across all publications.
- Work closely with investment professionals to translate complex ideas into accessible content.
- Liaise with marketing, compliance, and legal teams to ensure content meets regulatory and brand requirements.
- Contribute to the development of editorial calendars and content strategies.
- Identify opportunities to enhance storytelling and improve investor engagement.
- Stay updated on market trends and investment themes to inform content direction.
- Fact-check data, performance figures, and financial terminology.
- Ensure timely delivery of content under tight deadlines.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in financial editing, investment writing, or asset management communications.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, investment products, and regulatory frameworks.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and content management systems (CMS).
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
Nice to Have
- Experience in asset management, wealth management, or financial publishing.
- Familiarity with ESG, alternatives, or thematic investing.
- Some experience with infographics.
- Knowledge of AP Style or other editorial standards.
