Moelis was looking for an Investment Banking Vice President

Moelis is looking for an Investment Banking Vice President to join its Healthcare Life Sciences practice, focusing on Life Sciences content. This New York-based role is a key position within the firm, responsible for leading sophisticated financial analysis and playing a central part in client transactions.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee a wide variety of quantitative analyses, including leveraged buyout models, discounted cash flow, multiple valuation analysis, and merger and acquisition accretion/dilution analysis for client and investor presentations.
  • Develop investment scenarios and corresponding presentation material, coordinate marketing for securities offerings, and create valuation analysis, business plans, and financial projections.
  • Leverage the firm's capital markets, proprietary research, and analytical capabilities to provide investment, risk advisory, merger & acquisition, and capital markets services.
  • Monitor relevant transactions, capital market trends, company financial statements, industry data, and regulatory information.
  • Work directly with Executive Directors and Managing Directors in all facets of the business, including marketing, transaction evaluation, and transaction processing.

What We're Looking For

  • An MBA from a top-tier business school or equivalent investment banking experience.
  • Five or more years of relevant work experience in investment banking.
  • Ability to apply advanced fundamentals of economic and financial analysis methods for business decisions.
  • Experience supervising Analyst and Associate level staff in research, analysis, and transaction execution within the investment banking sector.
  • Demonstrated maturity, presence, attention to detail, initiative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively adapt to and address changing client and firm needs.
