About the Role
This role is responsible for maintaining precise inventory records by conducting cycle counts, verifying stock levels, and resolving discrepancies using warehouse management systems.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy
- Update stock records in the warehouse management system
- Investigate and resolve inventory variances
- Support physical inventory audits across warehouse locations
- Ensure proper labeling and organization of stored materials
- Collaborate with receiving and shipping teams to track inventory movement
- Report discrepancies between physical stock and system data
- Maintain documentation for inventory transactions
- Assist in reconciling inventory reports with accounting records
- Follow safety protocols while accessing storage areas
- Identify slow-moving or obsolete stock items
- Support process improvements for inventory control
- Track lot and serial numbers for traceability
- Monitor stock levels to prevent overstock situations
- Assist in preparing inventory for third-party audits
- Follow company procedures for inventory adjustments
- Coordinate with supervisors on inventory discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with internal control standards
- Use handheld scanning devices for data collection
- Maintain clean and organized inventory workspaces
- Support year-end inventory procedures
- Assist in transferring materials between locations
- Verify accuracy of incoming shipments against purchase orders
- Track returnable packaging inventory
- Provide inventory data for demand forecasting

Physical Requirements
