Tapintowattsbenefits is looking for an Inventory Specialist to ensure inventory and bin accuracy in our Stockroom, Production areas, and offsite warehouses. In this role, you'll be responsible for resolving discrepancies, managing ERP transactions, and performing regular audits to directly support our manufacturing operations.
What You'll Do
- Perform cycle counts of stockroom inventory on a predetermined schedule.
- Coordinate and execute cycle counts in production areas to ensure inventory alignment.
- Conduct periodic cycle counts at offsite warehouse locations.
- Perform regular ad-hoc bin location audits within the Stockroom and Production areas.
- Manage inventory transactions in the ERP system, ensuring accurate data entry.
- Provide material handling support, including pulling materials and replenishing bins.
- Review inventory transactions to identify and investigate root causes of errors.
- Input and audit daily cycle count results, maintaining detailed records.
- Perform other tasks as directed by the Stockroom Lead and/or Supervisor.
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of experience in a warehousing and manufacturing environment.
- 2+ years of end-to-end Cycle Count ownership and experience.
- Experience with inventory transactions and SAP/ERP/WMS systems.
- Basic math skills and computer skills to perform ERP transactions.
- Ability to obtain forklift certification.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English.
- A High School Diploma or GED.
Nice to Have
- An Associate’s degree or Logistics/Supply Chain-related certification.
