Role Overview
This position focuses on the management and oversight of consigned inventory within remanufacturing core programs. The analyst ensures data accuracy, financial compliance, and operational efficiency across supplier networks by leveraging enterprise tracking systems and analytical tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and validate transactions in the Core Inventory Tracking System (CITS), ensuring alignment with established protocols and data integrity.
- Approve cost-part submissions and configure material data to support daily core program operations.
- Conduct regular reconciliation of financial variances, including aged discrepancies and Original Equipment deposits.
- Monitor and report on inventory performance metrics, identifying risks and opportunities in consigned stock locations.
- Support remanufacturing suppliers through resolution of EDI issues, cycle count differences, and system-related inquiries.
- Perform supplier audits and access reviews to verify compliance with control standards and operational readiness.
- Ensure adherence to SOX requirements through documented procedures and consistent policy enforcement.
- Prepare requisitions monthly to fulfill ongoing operational needs across consignment sites.
- Analyze Excess & Obsolete (E&O) inventory and scrap trends, proposing actions to improve asset utilization.
- Generate reports and dashboards using CITS, Cognos, Excel, and Access to inform leadership decisions.
- Support new Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) launches by aligning supplier capabilities with program requirements.
- Deliver insights through summaries and performance tracking that enhance inventory accuracy and accountability.
Technical Environment
Proficiency with CITS, Cognos, Microsoft Excel, Access, EDI systems, PLM platforms, and compliance frameworks such as SOX is essential for success in this role.
