TaxValet is looking for a mission-driven Microsoft Intune Engineer to join our nimble, high-impact IT team. You will take ownership of endpoint management and security, ensuring our remote-first infrastructure is secure, scalable, and perfectly aligned with the needs of our distributed workforce.
What You'll Do
- Own and manage the configuration, deployment, and optimization of Microsoft Intune across all corporate devices.
- Own and understand dynamic software patching and deployment of patching using modern tools.
- Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft Entra (Azure AD) to support secure access and identity management.
- Develop and enforce device compliance policies, ensuring security standards are met across endpoints.
- Partner with IT leadership to refine endpoint strategy and tooling as we scale.
- Proactively monitor, detect, and remediate issues impacting device health, performance, or security.
- Build and maintain documentation, SOPs, and automated workflows for efficiency and consistency.
- Serve as a go-to resource for device-related escalations and user support.
What We're Looking For
- Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, including configuration profiles, compliance policies, and application deployment.
- Deep working knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, and identity governance.
- Proven success supporting a remote-first workforce with varying needs across macOS and Windows environments.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a bias toward action.
- Self-starter who thrives in a flat, fast-moving environment.
- Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
