Tietoevry is seeking an intern to join our TelCo Microservices Development program. You'll maintain and enhance microservices for telecom applications, deploying services in a Kubernetes environment while participating in Agile workflows. This is a chance to gain hands-on experience with real-world technologies in a collaborative, international team.
What You'll Do
- Maintain and enhance microservices written primarily in C/C++, with occasional use of Python and Go.
- Deploy services in a Kubernetes environment using Helm, Docker, and internal tools.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to a robust CI/CD pipeline powered by Jenkins, with automated tests in Java.
- Collaborate in Agile workflows with 2-week sprints, using Jira and Confluence for task tracking and documentation.
- Engage in team meetings conducted in English.
- Explore and leverage AI technologies and tools (e.g., AWS-Q).
- Use Git/Gerrit for version control.
What We're Looking For
- Currently enrolled in an IT-related degree program.
- Familiarity with C/C++ programming.
- Basic understanding of containerization and Kubernetes concepts.
- Ability to work in an Agile team environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to Python or Java.
- Interest in network protocols (SCTP, SS7) and microservice architecture.
