Join STADA Arzneimittel AG for a dedicated internship where you will take ownership of a specific business case to analyze and optimize our Contract Manufacturing Organization (CMO) portfolio for supply chain improvement. You will be at the forefront of enhancing how we collaborate with external manufacturers and drive process efficiencies within our procurement and supply chain operations.
What You'll Do
- Analyze the CMO supplier portfolio to identify opportunities for supply chain optimization.
- Accelerate and improve the way of working with selected CMOs.
- Implement STADA's introduction process for new CMOs via structured kick-offs.
- Review portfolio pruning strategies for tail-end CMOs.
- Support the team in analyzing GROW and KEEP suppliers based on capabilities and the in-licensing project pipeline.
- Share growth opportunities for suppliers and present ideas internally.
- Analyze tail-end suppliers to identify pruning, transfer, or dossier switch options; prepare business cases, run RfQ processes, and align internally.
- Analyze business cases for the in-licensing pipeline by challenging commercial conditions.
What We're Looking For
- Currently enrolled in an advanced stage of a Bachelor's degree or in a Master's program.
- Field of study in Economics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical skills and enjoyment of working with data.
- Strong interpersonal skills and enjoyment of working in teams.
- Interest in Procurement, the Pharmaceutical industry, and process optimization.
- Work in a structured, solution-oriented manner and proactively take ownership of tasks.
- Confident communication in English and enjoyment of collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
Team & Environment
You will be part of the Procurement, Supply Chain & Logistics department, working directly on a dedicated business case. Your case owner will be Margarita Höfer (ESO Network & Contract Management Director).
