The University of British Columbia (UBC) is offering a hands-on internship for a Creative Video & Design Assistant. You’ll build your skills and portfolio by contributing to real YouTube channels, gaining behind-the-scenes experience with video production, design, and social media projects.
What You'll Do
- Animate short segments in After Effects.
- Edit YouTube videos in Adobe Premiere.
- Design high-performing thumbnails in Photoshop.
- Join on occasional shoots providing camera, light, and audio support.
- Optionally help with social media ideas and strategy.
What We're Looking For
- A creative mindset and willingness to try things.
- Interest in YouTube, storytelling, and digital content.
Nice to Have
- Some hands-on experience in After Effects, Premiere, and Photoshop.
