Role Overview

The Internal Sales Representative (ISR) plays a central role in driving operational efficiency within the sales cycle. Acting as a liaison between field teams, distribution partners, and end customers, the ISR ensures seamless execution of the Lead-to-Order process. This position emphasizes precision in order management, responsive customer service, and accurate forecasting to support business planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and sustain trusted relationships with customer procurement and planning contacts in alignment with field sales teams.
  • Deliver back-office support for assigned accounts, including handling quote requests, pricing documentation, and design registration reviews.
  • Respond to customer inquiries related to orders, IP licensing, and design status, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Manage order exceptions and escalations from distributors, working with centralized sales operations to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Coordinate sample logistics and support new product introductions by connecting field teams with Product Marketing and Operations.
  • Collect and analyze demand data from customers and distributors to build reliable sales forecasts.
  • Maintain up-to-date records in CRM systems, including design registrations and opportunity tracking.
  • Ensure proper distributor margin application across all sales opportunities.
  • Partner with Business Management, Legal, and Operations on contract terms, pricing agreements, and compliance matters.
  • Generate sales reports, pipeline summaries, and account insights for internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare data and analysis for Quarterly Business Reviews and strategic planning sessions.
  • Train new sales team members on internal tools and sales processes.
  • Serve as the primary contact for resolving pricing and supply issues raised by distributors or customers.

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree and at least eight years of relevant experience are required. Candidates must demonstrate strong interpersonal abilities, independent judgment, and business insight. The role demands adaptability in a fast-paced setting, with proven skill in multitasking and audience-appropriate communication. Familiarity with FPGA sales cycles is beneficial but not mandatory.

Work Environment

This is an onsite position based in Taipei, Taiwan, with remote work options available. The schedule follows Shift 1 (Taiwan time).
