Cemex is looking for an Internal Control Analyst to safeguard our business operations. In this role, you will review administrative and operational processes at our Cement plants against our Normative Framework and company policies. Your work ensures proper business management and identifies control failures to prevent or minimize patrimonial damage.
What You'll Do
- Apply defined audit procedures for assigned Cement plants according to the annual review program or special requests from operation managers.
- Prepare and disseminate detailed reports on the results of scheduled or special reviews to the appropriate audience.
- Leverage digital tools for efficient report creation and analysis.
- Design and develop digital tools and data visualizations for real-time internal control monitoring.
- Prepare accounting opinions to support criminal complaints filed by the Legal Department when required.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Public Accounting and Auditing, Industrial Engineering, Business Intelligence, or Data Analysis Engineering.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in audit functions.
- Intermediate proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong problem-solving, organization, and planning skills.
- A customer-oriented approach to collaboration.
Nice to Have
- Experience with data analysis and visualization.
- Knowledge of Microsoft PowerApps or Power Automate.
