Dev.Pro is looking for an Intermediate Test Engineer to support the development of a leading healthcare cost-containment platform. In this role, you will focus on manual testing and data validation to ensure the accuracy and reliability of backend processes powering core platform components.
What You’ll Do
- Perform manual testing of data loading, transformation, and validation processes.
- Verify the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of data from various sources.
- Create, execute, and document test cases based on business and technical requirements.
- Identify, report, and track defects related to data quality and processing.
- Collaborate with developers, data analysts, and product stakeholders to align on testing needs and clarify requirements.
- Use tools like Microsoft Excel and SQL queries to validate, analyze, and troubleshoot data issues.
- Participate in team meetings, contribute to process improvements, and help enhance overall testing quality.
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of commercial manual testing experience.
- Solid understanding of software testing, data validation, and QA best practices.
- Experience creating, executing, and documenting test cases.
- Strong SQL skills for data validation.
- Proficiency in Excel and basic REST API testing (Postman).
- Experience with test management or defect-tracking tools (Azure DevOps, Jira).
- Understanding of SDLC/STLC in Agile.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Clear communication and teamwork skills.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and suggest improvements.
- Ownership, accountability, and visibility in work.
- Upper-Intermediate English level.
Nice to Have
- Working knowledge of MS SQL Server.
- Experience with Redgate or similar tools.
- Practical experience using Git for version control.
- Experience in healthcare, insurance, or other data-heavy domains.
